# What UNIKO does — and does not do

UNIKO is designed to:

· Provide liquidity and support continuous trading activity.

· Capture bid–ask spreads and micro-structure opportunities.

· Control systemic risk via embedded rules and throttles.

UNIKO is not designed to:

· Reliably predict market direction.

· Promise or guarantee a fixed return.

· Operate as a custodial asset manager (implementation and custody models depend on integration pathways and jurisdictional requirements).
